Compared with the on-site monitoring records, the changes of the surrounding environment were discussed. In order to study the influence of deep foundation pit excavation on the surrounding environment, the excavation process of a deep foundation pit in Changchun was numerically simulated for its effect on the surrounding buildings by using Midas GTS/NX software.
